Join the fleet of owner/operators.

When you join Ag Express as an owner/operator, you are joining a team with years of experience and stability within the industry. Allowing our team to do the legwork for you and keeping loads in front of you, you are giving yourself the time you need to keep rolling and earning revenue. The hours spent finding, booking, and scheduling are eliminated making more miles under your rig.

Owner/Operators receive 80% of the total gross revenue which includes fuel surcharge on the invoice. Any expenses with a load that are reimbursed to the company can be paid directly so you are not responsible for the expense.

At sign-on, the following must be met:
     -Receipt by O/O of a $500.00 deposit.
-Proof of ownership of your vehicle, (copy of Bill of Sale and Title) showing the empty weight.
-Proof of payment of the 2290 (Federal Heavy Use Tax). If this has not been paid, the company can pay this and deduct from a settlement.
-Proof of pre-employment negative drug results through our company's MRO.
-Proof of Workers Compensation Exemption (Montana Form).
-A completed driver's file; All DOT rules apply.
-Liability, Cargo and Bobtail insurance obtained through our Agent. (Ag Express will divide your insurance premiums into 2 payments rather than hold the whole sum out at once).

-Your truck will have to pass an inspection, to be completed by C&L Truck Repair. Inspection cost is $50.00 and adheres to DOT regulations.

The following expenses are owner/operator responsibility:
-C&L Truck Repair bills. We offer fair terms for shop bills, deducted in accordance with your revenue.
-C&L can buy tires and parts at a discounted price - which can be passed on to you.
-Fuel purchases on Ag Express Comdata or TCH fuel cards($4.50 per transaction).
-Truck insurance premiums, as stated above.
-All prorate charges as stated above.

Ag Express can provide to you reputable companies to seek health insurance benefits.
Ag Express does not pay for health insurance coverage; this is another reason we give an 80/20 split on the invoice so that the owner operator may better afford health insurance coverage.
